Halloween and Christmas

This year we had our annual family Halloween party at our house this year. We had a pot luck of goulish foods and played some festive games. Pictured below are the family members that attended... in costume of course... I'm the witch and Bryan is the redneck hick (Bryan joked that these costumes matched our personalities- Ha, Ha!) Becca is the little mouse inside the cheese and Diana is unrecognizable decked out in her "shopper lady" attire.

Grandma and Grandpa Sinclair were able to make it and we were so glad!

Below are Heather, Dave, and Drew from Pirates of the Carribean

Diana and Becca had a lot of fun making cookies for Santa.

We went to Mom's Christmas Day and they had tons of snow! The kids loved playing in it. This is Diana's attempt at a snow angel.

Caitlyn and Diana had a lot of fun sledding, Caitlyn even "surfed" down the hill on one of the sleds.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

In No Particular Order...

We went camping with Bryan's family in the Uinta's during Labor Day weekend. One day while we were there, we hiked up to Provo Falls with our good friends Garrett and Cynthia and their family. This is a spot Bryan and Garrett had taken me and Cynthia when we were dating. Wow- how time flies!

Diana had her 4th birthday! We had a carnival party with lots of carnival games and Grandma and Grandpa Martin brought their bouncy house. Diana was really excited to get her first bicycle!

Bryan and I moonlighting as carnival stars!

We went to East Canyon Resort with Mom and Mike for a few days. It was a fun place to spend time with the family swimming, playing shuffle board and barbequeing. Diana and her cousin Aubrey are giving miniature golf a try.

Our family also went to Lagoon. Becca was so brave. She wanted to keep up with her older sisters and would try any ride they went on.

Diana started pre-school at Buttons and Bows. She loves coloring and doing show and tell. She feels like such a big girl with her Dora backpack.

Becca is such a character. She brings a lot of laughter into our home.

These are mommy's little helpers. What would I do without them?

JULY UPDATE

We moved into our new house at the beginning of June- yea!!! There are still projects around the house that need finished but we are so excited to be living in our new home! Here are some pictures of what our family has been up to the past couple of months.

My sister Shannon and her husband Seth lost their son Charles Farrell Hossfield on June 26, 2008. He died from complications with HLHS (a heart condition), he was just 8 months old. They are great examples of strength and faith in our Heavenly Father's plan. We know Charlie is with his Heavenly Father and we will see him again someday.

Earlier in June we celebrated Caitlyn's 9th birthday and Rebecca's 1st birthday. Caitlyn wanted a fairy theme so we had a fairy cake and all of the kids decorated their own fairy wings. Rebecca had a teddy bear cake, it was the same cake my mom made me for my 1st birthday and Diana's 1st birthday.

In July we went to the Sinclair family reunion with my side of the family. We had a great time visiting with family and participating in the activities. We got to go horseback riding, canoeing, swimming, rock cllimbing, play paint ball, go shooting, etc. Caitlyn was even brave enough to dance in the talent show and did a great job. It was a fun vacation!

This is Rebecca riding a little pony.

This is me and Becca in the Bouncy House.

Diana's trying out the gunny sacks, getting ready for the big race.

Me, Bryan, and Caitlyn tried out the Rock Climbing Wall.

Caitlyn and Bryan went for a horseback ride. Bryan's horse was really stubborn but Caitlyn looked like a natural.

Diana had a turn on the little pony.

SPRING 2008

Charlotte (Bryan's sister) and Roy literally tied the knot on Saturday. It was a very nice ceremony and Caitlyn and Diana enjoyed being waitresses by helping serve the cake.
We visited baby Charlie in the hospital at the end of April. He sure seemed to love playing with the kids in the crib.
Caitlyn is our little soccer star. She enjoys playing forward and goalie.

On May 13th, Diana had her first dance recital. She did tap, ballet, and gymnastics.

We went to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Martin, Shannon and Seth, Aubrey, Heather, Dave, Gavin, and Aunt Jennifer.

One night I made cookies with my two little bakers. Diana got to lick the beaters, but Becca got worn out and fell asleep on the job.

Diana got to race in our Pinewood Derby since she faithfully comes to scouts with her mom every week, (she can even recite the Cub Scout Promise!) Her dad helped her make a blue truck carrying lumber and a ladder in the back. It wasn't the fastest, but she won the Judges Choice Award.

The girls have such a love for each other!

Here is the most recent picture of our little family.

OUR NEW HOUSE

These are pictures of our house we're building. It is getting closer to getting done, but there is no move in date yet! These pictures were taken in February.
This the the back of the house where the futre deck will be.

This is the girls bathroom. Bryan isn't a big fan of the bright blue paint, but I plan to decorate it with a sea shell theme.

This the the tub in the master bathroom. Bryan is looking forward so a nice hot soak in there when he's finished with all of his hard work on the house!

This is the custom shower with two shower heads. Bryan did an amazing job on the tile!

This is a view of the kitchen ceiling- nice and vaulted with a hickory beam. I don't know how were going to change the light bulbs in that ceiling fan!

This is a close up of our dirty kitchen tile.

This is a view as if you were coming in the door from the garage. You're looking at the future kitchen with an island and the dining room.

This is the hickory hard wood floor in the front entry.

This is the stairway up to the loft.
